This hose series is built for continuous transfer of hot fluids under pressure — hot asphalt, glue, tar, oil, and wax — where general-purpose hose isn't rated for the temperature or pressure involved. A black chloroprene tube and multiple wire braid reinforcement support a 2250 psi working pressure with continuous service to 275°F and intermittent service to 300°F. It's commonly specified for in-plant transfer, delivery truck loading/unloading, and oilfield service.
